Zarinah is a neuroscientist in the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London, specialising in the study of speech production and auditory motor interactions. She dissected jelly brains with us in 2010 at Borough MarketLovebox, the Secret Garden Party and the Secret Cinema’s production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, and in 2011 introduced us to the dirty bits of the brain in our Dirt Banquet at the Secret Garden Party as part of the Wellcome Trust’s Dirt season. Read her wonderful blog post about how scientists mapped the naughty corners of the cortex here, and catch a glimpse of her slicing panna cotta brains in our 2010 showreel here.
