Lewis Dartnell is a an astrobiologist at University College London and author of Life in the Universe: A Beginner’s Guide. One of our longest-standing collaborators, he first spoke on the search for life elsewhere in the universe at the Secret Garden Party in 2008. In 2010 he came back to take us on auditory tours of the stars at the Distance festival at the Stoke Newington International Airport, Green Man, and The Roundhouse in Camden, and the Astronomers’ Ball in 2011. He took things to the next level in a theatrical role as the host of our Intergalactic Travel Bureau at BBC Stargazing Live 2012.
