Izzat Darwazeh is the Head of the Communications and Information Systems Group and the Chair of Telecommunications Engineering in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College London. He hosted our DIY Alien Contact Station at the Astronomers’ Ball, where he explained to costumed guests how radio waves will carry their messages into the deep unknown.
