Evy Jokhova is a multi-disciplinary artist and bookmaker. She has lent her paintbrush and her expert eye to us on many occasions, first hosting a life drawing class at Battersea Power Station as part of the Lost Lovers Ball. That spring she led workshops turning plastic bottles into jellyfish in Transforming Trash as part of Project Ocean at Selfridges. Then we kicked things up a notch and made her our resident artist for the Secret Garden Party in 2011, where she made the trimmings for our tent - including fungal sculptures and microbial stencils – body painted our model for the Dirty Life Drawing Class, and later created science-inspired paintings for Bestival. The Life Drawing classes went down such a treat, we brought them back for Shambala 2012.
