Secret Garden Party, 2007
We started small, but we came out with a bang. Our debut at the Secret Garden Party in 2007 featured gerontologist Aubrey de Grey, famed for his controversial theory that it is possible to live forever (skeptical? check out his TED talk), and freelance mathematician Billy Rood on fractals and if god is a number.
Plus short talks on quantum mechanics, the structure of DNA, how hallucinogens affect the brain, and the Traveling Observatory.
… also some hay bales, thrown in for good measure.
